ELECTRONIC FLORA - THROUGH THE SEASONS

Electronic Flora - Through the Seasons is based on recordings of electrical activity from a birch tree recorded throughout the four seasons. The electrical signals from the birch is transmitted through a modular synthesizer and dictates melodies, notes and rhythms in the music. The electrical signals also provide cues for video editing. Each season is also portrayed through detailed graphite drawings.
